Really? Really?

In what universe is this a good parking job?

How about this one?

See the three cars in a row? There are only two parking spots. By parking in the third spot in the rear like that, the middle car is boxed in. There were at least four or five people parked like this, but I only captured the two pictures.

Go back and look at the two pictures again.... I'll let you. The row of spots actually ends where the blue jeep-like car is parked in the first picture. See it?

With the extra row filled in, there's almost not enough room for a car to fit through.

I went to pick up my kids yesterday afternoon. It seems like people thought it would be a good idea to block people in so that they could park. I guess their kids were more important than anyone else's kids, huh? Douchebags!

Do you see a sign in my front yard that says "Dead Smurf Storage?"

Quentin Tarantino is Brainy Smurf?

Unfortunately, according to his publisher, he's not. That's a shame, because I know we were all looking forward to hearing him say:

"And you will know my name is The Smurf when I lay my smurf upon thee."

Three Years? Already?

How is it possible that over three years have passed?

30-second bunny theatre

Yes, I am pretentious enough to use to British spelling.

http://www.angryalien.com/aa/bondbuns.asp

Cartoon bunnies parody blockbuster movies. There is no situation in which this is not funny and ridiculous cute at the same time.

I. Love. It.

Even sick, I can totally appreciate the humor.

4:30 AM and nothing's on

Last week, I was barfing for two days. Yesterday, I started feeling like my throat was on fire. By now, it feels like I swallowed swords. I can't swallow at all. It hurts quite a bit.

My wonderful husband went out to a 24-hour CVS in order to get me some medicine. I don't know what I'd do without him.

Meanwhile, I've been awake since around 2 AM. There is nothing on TV. This sucks.

To Kindle or Not To Kindle...

That is the question...

I've been reading a lot online about WPF and specifically MVVM. There are a lot of great blogs with tons of samples. However, samples don't do a great job of explaining an entire concept. I want to gain a deeper understanding about this technology.

One blogger that I really admire is Josh Smith. He has written a small electronic book on Advanced MVVM. It is only available as an eReader digital copy or as a Kindle download. Since I don't particularly like reading books on my computer screen, I now have a compelling reason to purchase a Kindle.

If anyone out in the blogosphere or Internets happens to read this and has a Kindle experience, please share. I want to know if it's worth the money.

You Know It's Bad When...

You know you've forgotten you're manners when you're about to send an email to your Father-in-Law about your state taxes, and the subject of the email reads, "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday". You have to say it like they used to say in the commercials for the Monster Truck rally at the Wistah Centrum.

I think I might make this a regular blog topic.
